TRANSPORTATION BROKERAGE

As a transportation broker, we perform a matching service, bringing together shippers and motor carriers. We, in effect, become the transportation department for the shipper and the sales department for the carrier. Our experienced professional brokers work with the shipper to determine their needs, and match those needs with the appropriate carrier.

In order to provide our customers with the very best transportation service, Camas Transport requires all brokers who meet the TIA qualifications, to become Certified Transportation Brokers. Dispatchers are encouraged to become certified, but it is not mandatory. All of Camas Transport brokers and dispatchers who have met the TIA qualifications are CTB's.

CAMAS FREIGHT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Camas Transport has developed a customized real-time interactive freight management database. This database is continuously updated with available loads and equipment. The system provides automated load confirmations, point-to-point mileage, and computerized rate quotes. This logistics tool enables Camas to supply its customers and carriers with the most current information. Specifically designed reports and historical information about your company may be provided upon request.
CUSTOMER SERVICE

Camas Transport has contractual relationships with several thousand carriers nationwide including Canada. Our freight management system provides updated data on available carriers and equipment. We are in constant contact with our carriers from pick-up through delivery. Our network communicates our customer loads throughout the United States, maximizing exposure for our customers' freight movements. We assure protection for our customer loads by qualifying each of our carriers. Camas Transport requires a signed Broker/Carrier Contract, insurance certification, valid authority, and FHWA.

Our order entry system has checks and balances from the load confirmation through delivery. The real added value for our customer is the problem-solving abilities of our brokers. Our policy of follow-up and follow-through begins with your load order, and ends when we call to verify the load was delivered in accordance with your instructions.
