USA Logistics is a division of USA Truck, Inc. that specializes in providing a full range of solutions to meet our customers’ dynamic supply chain and transportation-related needs.
USA Logistics was started in January 1998 as a division of USA Truck Inc.. Since its beginning, USA Truck has provided premium service in the medium haul, common, and contract markets. The goal with USA Logistics is to be more of a "problem solver'' for our customers by offering services beyond the medium haul needs that were already being fulfilled by USA Truck.

Improved customer service and reduced transportation costs are the primary benefits that our customers experience by utilizing our Dedicated Services. Service is improved through a higher level of knowledge involving our customers' needs. It's no secret that drivers committed to a particular customer will outperform the typical over the road driver simply through familiarity with the customer's business, their locations and even their shipping and receiving personnel.
In today's world of shrinking margins and fierce competition, our customers are continually challenged with cost reduction. By using USAL as a dedicated service partner, our customers reduce cost and develop efficiencies without a fear of lowering their customer service levels.
Private Fleet Conversion
There are a number of reasons Private Fleet Owners make the decision to discontinue their private fleet. Reasons such as a decision to concentrate on core competencies, a desire to simplify the transportation effort, a need for more advanced onboard communication and tracking systems as well as the high cost of maintaining aged equipment.
A joint agreement is made between the customer and USA Logistics as to the sharing of responsibilities and equipment allocation or transfer of responsibilities and equipment to USA Logistics. Good communication with customer traffic personnel ensures a seamless integration of our customers’ existing driver pool into employment with USA Logistics. This smooth, openly communicated plan between all effected employees removes anxiety and allows input from all parties involved.
Outsourcing
USA Logistics’ Outsourcing Services provide a single source coverage with flexibility to meet your customer service levels. Many of our clients request support to handle overflow freight or loads that would require specialized equipment. USA Logistics’ Outsourcing Department contracts with many carriers to handle situations just like those. Outsourcing is also an option when that unexpected JIT (Just-In-Time) shipment needs to be handled quickly. Through its network of contracted carriers USA Logistics Outsourcing Department may save you time and money on expedited shipments.
