Latvian American Shipping Line (LASL) provides specialized ocean and air shipping services between the United States and the Baltic countries of Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania. Service is also extended to Belarus, Western Russia (we group these countries as the Eastern Baltic) and by rail to most of Russia. LASL is a niche operator - the company concentrates its activities in this area. Latvian American Shipping Line was one of the first transport companies to begin its activities in the newly independent Latvia and between Latvia and the United States. * FCL services are offered both to and from Riga and from Riga to major ocean ports of the world. LASL covers every point in Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Belarus and most of Western Russia.
* LASL provides FCL service to most major ports in the world.
* LASL provides speedy customs clearance service in Riga.

Less than container load (LCL) services:

* LASL provides fortnightly (every 2 weeks) direct container LCL service from New York to Riga.
* Small, private packages are accepted for delivery throughout Latvia.
* LASL provides customs clearance service in Riga.
* LASL provides LCL service from Riga to most major ports in the world.
