Armor Box Company

Armor Box Company was founded in 1982, to provide custom made, reusable shipping cases for valuable, electronic instruments. We now serve a broad range of industries: our customer list includes many of the world's biggest corporations, as well as small companies and even individuals who require special cases for their personal needs. Our commitment to all our customers: to produce a rugged, convenient, reusable case that will get its contents to their destination safely, over and over again. We design to the standards of ATA Specification 300 Category I - the protection the Air Transport Authority specifies to provide a minimum of 100 trips. While there are others who provide ATA cases, we are confident that none offer the quality, personal attention, quick turn-around, and custom production of our plant. Give us a call, or jump to Quick Quote to specify the dimensions of your equipment. We'll call, fax or email you an estimate within the working day.

BUILDING A CASE FOR STRENGTH

Shippers are notoriously rough, but we have years of experience in finding ways to stand up to their abuse:

* Steel corners, latches and handles are standard for us.
* Walls are void-free plywood and Kydex® or ABS.
* Anodized aluminum provides a framework of protection to every edge of each case.
* Construction is entirely with steel riveting, never glue.
* All handles and catches are recessed into the walls of the case, to prevent them from being sheared off when a shipper tries to squeeze in 'just one more'.
* A variety of interior foam cushioning provides protection appropriate to the need: firm, soft, or static-dissipating.

ANY SIZE, ANY SHAPE, ANY INTERIOR

Your case will include whatever YOU need:

* Multiple basic styles: trunk, suitcase, pull-along, rackmount, extra large, cabinet, soft-sided, and special designs for unique needs
* Hinged or removable lids, or front and rear covers for equipment operated within the case
* Twist-close standard catches can include keylocks or hasp
* Standard tongue-and-groove closure can include gasket for additional seal
* Wheels include swivel, fixed, locking, removable, and recessed
* Steel corners include flat, ball, and stacking
* Interior fittings include trays, trap doors, rack mount rails, shelves, and locking drawers
