Warehouse Management System
At the moment All-Can utilizes a proprietary warehouse management system (WMS) that has been designed and perfected by our in-house IT staff. We are currently upgrading with a new and improved web-based WMS so that our clients will have the tools necessary to manage their offsite inventory over the Internet. We anticipate that this new system will be up and running in the spring of 2006. Until that time we will continue to use the system that has made us successful to date.
With our current system, All-Can will maintain computerized inventory control for all goods in storage. Your inventory will be recorded as per your instructions and shipped via release documents faxed or e-mailed to our CSR Group or Facility Supervisor. All-Can can provide a reasonable number of inventory reports to you if requested. These reports include summary reports and various detailed transaction reports by product. Goods received at our warehouse location will be assigned an All-Can lot number on a product-by-product basis. Official Warehouse Receipts will be generated on a load-by-load basis. A copy of each receipt will also accompany monthly invoices. O, S & D (Over, Short, and Damage) Reports will be prepared when necessary and a copy faxed identifying any discrepancies between the Bill of Lading and our Receipt for damages observed.
