Nedcon Advanced Storage Tech

Since its start in 1969, Nedcon has been active in designing, producing and installing standard racking systems, and advanced, industrial high rise racking systems and custom-made industrial steel constructions. The main facilities at Doetinchem, the Netherlands, and at Pardubice, Czech Republic and sales offices in Belgium, France, Germany, Poland and the USA focus on the following markets:

* warehouses and distribution centres in Europe.
* automated storage and distribution centres in Europe and the USA (mainly turn-key projects with system partners)
* clad rack constructions: racking constructions with integrated roof and walls
* custom-made constructions for the storage of special goods and for specific pick and place devices

With all racking constructions, high demands are made on safety. Especially in fork-lift warehouses, human failure during pallet handling is not unthinkable. For this reason, constructive starting points for each specific situation have to be established. Nedcon knows and takes its special responsibility in this matter.

The organisation has been doing pioneering work in national and international normalisation and regulation, initiated by the European branch organisation FEM Section 10.

Racking systems are delivered with the Dutch quality mark named GSF-Keur. This means there is an independent inspection of compliance with Technical Foundation by TNO-Certification.

Nedcon can also comply with international accepted norms and guidelines such as FEM 9.831, Class 200, DIN 18800, DAST016, ZH1/428, DIN4149-1 and DIN 1055.

Nedcon offers its clients a periodical inspection and maintenance schedule in contract form with recommendations and guidelines for safe use of the system.

Of course, the user has final responsibility for guarding the safety of his working environment at all times.
