The cold stores have been constructed on a way so that all the available space is completely being utilized. This is possible because of a number of so-called "drive through" cold stores.

The possibilities

The cold stores can work independent from each other, so that the most divergent products can be stored, for example; vegetables, fruit and bulbs.
Not only the cold stores, but also the transfer room is conditioned. So also during the loading of your products, the quality stays guaranteed.

The cooling technology

The cooling equipment exists of an ammonia system with a pekasol cold carrier. Because there is being worked with a cold carrier, the ammonia contents of the system can be kept down and there is no danger for the escape of ammonia to cold stores and other public rooms. The total installed cooling capacity amounts to 1150 KW.

Coldstorage company Ben Varekamp bv, situated in Poeldijk (South Holland, The Netherlands), is offering space for the storage and transfer of all sorts of products, both ambient and refrigerated.
